There'll be various enhancements, ridonkulous weapons and armour, etc., etc. That's nothing to sniff at.

Sure, I wouldn't expect them to beat Nerelas or Kisidan or Lucanor, but they ain't yer granddaddy's Level 9.

Just how strong is Lucanor on an individual level? Outside the fact taht he can make you disapear with any part of his organization any all that. Sure he is high level but it he seemed to me like someone who has a truck ton of secondary skills and not that much else fight wise(again on personal level).

Dude is a master swordsman, which at level 16 without (presumably) class bonuses translates to a maximum of ~260-265 Attack/Defend plus stat.

Assume stat of 10 (I doubt he has put anything into Dexterity), that's 275.

Not awesome compared to real monsters, but coupled with his ~320 Martial Knowledge, pretty good compared against level 9-10 characters.

Granted, he likely hasn't exactly put all of his points into his attack/defend, so it's likely lower. I'd be curious to see his stats.

On the other hand, he probably does have loads of specialized equipment on the off chance someone manages to get into a tussle with him and Daaku is off at the Vet's.

Plus, contingencies. Lots of them. "I planned for this moment" kind of thing.

Lucanor is a lvl 9-10 Warrior, like Erick Sterki. Stated by AS long time ago.

Not to mention Daaku.

OK, but the book states "Freelance Level 16?", so unless we're told otherwise that's what we're going to assume.

Light means, he fight like a level 9-10 warrior. He is level 16 but he doesn't have the fighting abilities of someone who is level 16 and yeah it was confirmed by AS.

And there you go. Lines up with what I thought. His combat stats are roughly equal to a level 9-10 warrior, with the added bonus of having 320 base MK rather than 250.

Not bad at all.

Well.. lets add on that then how strong would Daaku be ? Seems to me both of them come as a single package of ruler + bodyguard.

Someone on the old forum (Blues? Light?) had it sort of written out at one point, but let's consider....

1. Daaku craps all over Hecatondies, ripping apart ten of them in 'a matter of seconds';
2. Hecatondies are level NINE, and they're not weak level nines;
3. Daaku gets more powerful if injured or 'killed', and if she ripped the combat golems apart in 'seconds', she probably didn't get injured or killed here and did all of that in her base form.

My guess is that Daaku - base form - would be easily level 11, more likely 12. In her more powerful forms, you'd have a choice:

1. Reborn at a higher level;
2. Reborn with DP in stuff like 'stealth' or 'notice', placing them all in powers and abilities that would upgrade her combat potential.

I'm curious to hear what the Spanish posters think, because I know it has been talked about over there.
